The Greatest Show On Earth comes to Frontier Regional School on Thursday, March 30 from 6 to 9 pm as the 8th Annual Music Telethon & Cabaret!!!
For the last eight years our school has been showcasing the best music that one can hear in order to raise funds for the music department. The event is shown on Frontier Community Access Television (FCAT) from 6 to 9 PM, is showcased live in the auditorium, and streamed through YouTube from our school website.
We are inviting everyone in the school to PACK THE HOUSE!!! That is to attend the event by coming to the auditorium and watch so many of your friends play in bands offering the best in music.
Max Sherrill, our fantastic school music director, is managing this event which promises to be the best one yet to date. There will be over 100 students from both the middle and high school playing, working backstage or assisting in the televising of the event.
There will be a number of teachers and parents performing as well in bands which might come as a surprise to you. Among the acts there will be a rock group of teachers and parents at the end of the show that will be performing a set of Beatles songs that is guaranteed to bring the house down. It will go viral!!!!
Some of the many acts will include our Jazz Ensemble, String Orchestra and Middle School Concert Band. Once again we will be fortunate to hear the Elementary Schools Chorus who sang for the first time last year to an amazing reception!
The student musician group, The Rockin’ Redhawks will once again play a Rock & Roll set that will catch your listening attention! A new acoustic group called Stairwell that features students and teachers are a fantastic new addition that is totally string instrument based. You are all gonna’ love this act!
At the most recent Coffee House, those in attendance were literally shocked by the rap duo of Barnes & Gonzales. It was a must to add these guys to our act list for the Telethon.
For the first time in memory Frontier put on a musical, Guys & Dolls, and in celebration of this performance you will see one of the show’s musical numbers. So if you didn’t see the show or want to taste a bit more of it come to the Telethon!
PACK THE HOUSE, COME TO THE TELETHON AND CELEBRATE AN EVENING OF FANTASTIC MUSIC IN SUPPORT OF THE MUSIC DEPARTMENT OF FRONTIER!!!!
