The 3rd Annual Powder Puff Charity football game between 12th and 11th-grade girls was held under the lights on Saturday night with the greatest number of spectators in attendance so far! Practices were held prior to the game over the last few weeks and it showed in the high quality of play. The Seniors won by the score of 26 to 8. Senior Kara Felton ran for two touchdowns and Lisa Portier for one. Eliza Desmarais caught a touchdown pass thrown by Sara Meunier. For the Junior girls, Emma Wesoloski ran for their sole score. The crowd was entertained prior to and during the game by the Rockin’ Redhawks student music ensemble. Refreshments were sold by the 10th grade. All proceeds are going to Safe Passage, a local agency who works to combat domestic abuse. No injuries were reported and everyone had a great time! Thanks to Mr. Dredge for refereeing the game!
