A new season starts and with all of the seniors gone, who are all of these new players? Let’s get a scorecard out and find out. Yet, we remember how much we accomplished last year. For the first time in Frontier’s sports history, the boy’s soccer team  won a Western Massachusetts title in 2015. Moving onto the state championship round, the Hawks came up short by one goal in overtime during the semi-state finals.

For 2016, Frontier lost thirteen seniors from last year. Including key players such as Chad Parent, Connor Hamilton, and goalie Dylan Husted. This year’s team includes only four seniors, six juniors, ten sophomores, and two freshmen. They are coached by Dale Totman, his sixth season at Frontier.  It’s a completely new team with a new dynamic. The Hawks have lost a few games however, they are off to a good start. They may be overlooked because of all the new faces that now make up the team but they are certainly proving themselves this year. “This team is looking great, it definitely is a change from last year but we have been working hard and we are trying to face another Western Mass game. We just have to keep improving every day and believe in each other” says a number of new players in unison. Go Guys!!
